Can you believe the weather was kind. So we shot off masses of fireworks, many were much louder than we had hoped but the Residents sitting inside didn’t seem greatly phased by this. Especially popular were the Zip and Zang Shogun Fountains which being especially low made easy viewing from the windows. We had Residents, visitors and staff at all the windows surrounding the courtyard. To help proceedings we served snacks like sausage rolls washed down with Marks and Spencer’s Mulled Wine, it all disappeared. Look forward till next year.
