Children come to see our Residents
Next door we have a pre-school childcare group who now come regularly to visit our Residents. The children are between 3 and 4 years old and today visited 8 of our Residents. They sang “ABC” and there were smiles all round. A special thanks to Kim, who brings them. We hope to establish bonds between
Albert House Awarded Top 20 Care Home in South West England
Albert House Nursing Home has been given a “2017 Top 20 Care Home in South West England” award by www.carehome.co.uk, the leading care home review site in the UK. Well done to all the staff who are the heroes behind this award.
The Times Newspaper
Albert House now gets The Times newspaper for any Resident or visitor to read. Can normally be found in the dining room or main lounge.
Easter Day April 17th 2017 Sunday
As usual Residents took part in decorating Easter items and on the day enjoyed Easter Eggs and an Easter egg hunt.

Eat Weston: New food festival 8th April 2017 Saturday
New festival in Weston’s High Street: we hope to take a couple of people if the crowds and weather allow.
Flashback Theatre 21st March 2:30pm
The Flashback girls are now a regular fixture for Albert House. This time the show was called Shout, great as always.
Worle Operatic Drama Society 11th March 2017 at 2:30pm
We were very proud that the Worle Operatic Drama Society chose to try out singing in a care home. They gave up their time to come and sing and we hope they will return soon. They sang beautifully and everyone loved them. They sang: Season Of Love – Rent the Musical Solo – Becky I’ve got Rh
Pancake Day 28th Feb 2017 Tuesday
Shrove Tuesday comes again and we made masses of pancakes with all sorts of preferred toppings. Hmm.
Meet the Birds 27th Feb 2017 at 2:30pm
Wings of Freedom, a charity supporting the care of owls and birds of prey. Please come along and get up and close to these wonderful birds.
Chef Richard creates beautiful pudding
Richard creates many homemade dishes but this is one of the prettiest I have seen. Yummy.
