Beach Fun – 8th May 2012
When in Weston; beach balls provide good exercise!
Donation to Africa
Recycling is good, so when we changed all rooms to flat screen TV’s, we have donated 19 TV’s which will go to Africa.
St.George’s Day – Monday & Tuesday 23-24th April 2012
On St. George’s Day we held a flag waving party. Bingo with prizes of sweets or small bottles of wine, plus a knees up and a beer. Residents loved the traditional special fry up lunch with sausages, egg, bacon, tomato and beans which was delayed 1 day to Tuesday 24th April.
Easter Egg Hunt – Sunday 8th April
The Great Albert House Egg Hunt was a blast and both staff and Residents enjoyed finding those elusive Easter Eggs. Also the Residents had a fun session making cupcakes with smarties and funny faces.

Albert House Sponsors Snail Race
Albert House is sponsoring a snail race to raise fund for renovating 1st Milton’s Scout HQ. They need to raise £70,000 for a new roof and an internal renovation to make the facilities suitable for disabled access as well as modernising the facilities for the 125+ local children who use th
Bruce’s “Johnny Cash” Show – 2:30pm 22nd February 2012
Tribute to the man in black. A personal favourite for me too. Bruce dressed in black sang some of the best songs of Johnny Cash. Its uncanny how close he sounds to the great man, thanks from all the Residents.
New Fish Update
We now have 22 fish including 4 types of tetra, Pepper Corys and Lace Gourami. All very pretty.
Red Arrows – 23rd or 24th TBA July 2012
Walk down to the seafront to see the Red Arrows and the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight. They were cancelled last time due to weather so we are in hope of better luck this time.
