Weston-super-Mare Museum – 16th-20th May 2011
Visits to Weston-super-Mare Museum with tea and cakes. Though we could only visit the ground floor with wheelchairs, it was still fun for all, seeing the locally themed displays brought back memories for many.
Royal Wedding Tea Party – 29th April 2011

Easter Day Celebration with Easter eggs for all – all that chocolate!… well, it’s only once a yeay!

Flags everywhere! A special fry up lunch with sausages, egg, hash browns, mushrooms, tomato and (for those who like it) black pudding, or for some… Anne’s home-made cottage pie. For tea the kitchen made some pretty cupcakes that disappeared fast!
Hot Cross Bun Day – 22nd April 2011
Hot Cross buns for all, toasted to perfection with melted butter and, if wanted, strawberry jam! Need I say more?

13th December 2010 - Children from Walliscote Road School sang carols for the Residents and staff. Beautiful sounds much loved by the Residents every year.

Philippine Day – 30th November 2010
Philippine Day celebration organised by our Filipino staff, with beautiful dancing and delicious Philippine food. Attended also by family and friends, as well as anybody visiting the Home. It was fun to watch the dangerous bamboo dance… watch those ankles!
