Albert House joins John’s Campaign
Albert House is one of the “first 100” Care Homes to join John’s Campaign. Albert House never restricts access to our Residents, even allowing access at night if necessary. We fully support this and are proud to be one of the first 100 Homes to support the Campaign.
New Singer in Albert House
We have a new regular singer to share singing duties with Bruce. He is Dennis DeMille.
Christmas Day with the family – Sun 25th Dec 2016 12pm
The best Christmas party I have seen at Albert House, everybody in great spirits. Plus there was turkey and all the trimmings! The turkey came from our local Whitecross Road butcher, lovely.
Flash (girls from Olive Tree) Christmas Party Fri 23rd Dec 2016 2:30pm
The great singers from Olive Tree (now called Flash) sing Christmas Party Songs, should be fun, come and listen.
Corpus Christi Children choir – Wed 14th Dec 2016 11am
Corpus Christi children return to sing carols, so cute.
Christmas Carol Service – Monday 12th Dec 2016 2:30pm
Instead of our regular service, this will be a special Christmas carol service.
Weston Air Festival – 17th and 18th June 2017
The best event in Weston is back. Red Arrows promised. We take many Residents out to see the spectacle, however we could take more if some family members would like to help.
Real Ale and Cider Festival 28-30th July 2017
We usually take a few to this festival, mostly our men who appreciate a good pint.
Visits to new Weston Museum Opening August 2017
£1 million refurb completed, so we plan trips to see the Museum and partake of tea in their teashop.
2nd trip to the Garden Centre – Tuesday 29th Nov 1:30pm
2nd Trip to the Garden Centre. Again the Garden Centre was decked out with the Christmas decorations. There are calls for a further pre-Christmas trip…phew.
Trip to the Garden Centre Tues 15th Nov. 2016 at 2pm-4pm

Fireworks Saturday 5th Nov 2016 5:30pm
Fireworks, another regular with us. I have seen Residents blossom watching these, good memories from younger days perhaps. Food and drink was provided and all the Residents loved the fireworks.
