Good Friday and Hot Cross Bun Day 25th March 2016
Missed my hot cross bun but the Residents enjoyed them. Flash bang wallop (Olive Tree Theatre) performed Cor blimey governor! Took a walk down Memory Lane with these Cockney favourites. Why don’t you come along to ‘Roll Out The Barrel’ and ’The Lambeth Walk’.
100th Birthday Party for Betty
Our second 100th celebration in 2016. This time its was for Betty. Flash Bang Wallop (Olive Tree Theatre of old) sang Happy Birthday and other songs that Betty and the other Residents enjoyed.
St Patrick’s Day 17th March 2016
Bunting to celebrate this day and Guinness, once a year.
Chinese New Year – Monday 8th Feb 2016
We celebrated Chinese New Year, the Year of the Monkey. Decorations were very colourful. Happy New Year!
Winnie’s 100th Birthday!
Winnie’s family celebrated her 100th Birthday with her family in Albert House. The Mercury came to take her picture holding the Birthday card from the Queen. Congratulations to her from all the staff.
Christmas Lunch Party 12pm 25th December 2015
Lovely spread set up by the staff, and with all the decorations, festive fun and the odd alcoholic drink, it all went really well.
New Years Day Party with Roast Beef and bubbly 1st Jan 2016
Celebrated the start of 2016, champagne flowed.

Wonderful front door area. The staff created a magical grotto as usual.
Olive Tree doing Christmas show 21st Dec 2015 2:30pm
We love the Olive Tree girls who always provide an amazing show, this time they did an excellent Christmas show.
Corpus Christi children will be singing carols 17th Dec at 13:45
30 children coming to sing carols…..was chaotic fun. Hope they come next year.
Two trips to Town to shop, have a hot drink and mince pie 12th & 16th Dec 2015
Nothing like a trip around the shops during the Christmas period, uniquely fun (atmosphere and not fun (gets busy), but its worth it and the Residents did love it.
