Recent General Activities – May 2014
Some of the activities carried out in May including the visit of Benji, the PAT dog, making clay bits and bobs, bingo and Joan’s Birthday.
Olive Tree Theatre – Around the World – Wednesday 28th April 2014
Around the World in Song. The Olive Tree theatre is brilliant and again lived up to their regular high standards, loved by all.
Tea during the Blitz – 26th April 2014
Residents took some tea during in the style of those difficult days in World War Two. Listening to 40’s music while they eat cake and sandwiches, washed down with strong tea and ginger beer.
Easter Egg Hunt 20th April 2014 afternoon
Hunt those eggs, jolly good laugh for all. The staff did a beauty show using the hats made by the Residents.
New Matron
Jacqueline Thomas has joined us as Matron. She has considerable experience as a nurse, working much of her time overseas. Jacqui brings much to our team and I hope you will come and say hello to her.
Our Matron to Retire
Sadly, Catherine Barron, our Matron of 12+ years, is to retire and therefore leaves us at the end of March – we are all sad and will miss her. We hope she has a happy retirement, which I am sure she will as she is a very active person.
Alive! Variety Day 24th Feb 2014 Monday
Playing with a ball, playing musically instruments and other fun games, enjoyed by all. We will invite them back.

Sadie is Back Saturday 11th Jan 2014 3pm
We are so lucky with the 4 singers we have coming to Albert House and on the 11th Jan Sadie returns. You will remember that Sadie spends much of her time on cruise ships but we are lucky to have her come along a few times a year to sing for us. The show today
